Beautiful Jewelry. Real Expertise. A Team You Can Trust.
One of the best things about estate and vintage jewelry is that every piece has a story. At Accent Jewelers, we believe you should feel just as confident about what's behind your jewelry as you do about how it looks.
With decades of experience in the jewelry industry, our team carefully examines the pieces we purchase and sell, evaluating everything from precious metals and gemstones to craftsmanship and overall condition. It's all part of making sure you're getting quality jewelry at a great value.
Precious Metal Testing
We don't just take a stamp at face value. Our team examines and tests precious metals to verify their purity and identify potential inconsistencies.
- Metal Testing: We use industry-standard testing methods to evaluate gold, silver, and platinum.
- Hallmark Inspection: We examine stamps, maker's marks, and other identifying details to help verify metal content and origin.
Diamond & Gemstone Evaluation
Our experienced team evaluates diamonds and gemstones using professional equipment and industry knowledge to better understand their quality and characteristics.
- Diamond Evaluation: We examine characteristics such as cut, color, clarity, and carat weight, along with any available certifications.
- Gemstone Identification: We assess gemstones using appropriate gemological tools and testing methods.
- Condition & Quality: We inspect stones for visible damage, wear, and other characteristics that may affect their value.
Craftsmanship & Condition
There's a lot more to a piece of jewelry than the materials it's made from. We take a closer look at the details that make estate and vintage jewelry special.
- Design & Construction: We examine craftsmanship, settings, and design details to help identify a piece's style and potential age.
- Signs of Wear: We assess the overall condition, including previous repairs, alterations, and everyday wear.
- Designer Details: For designer jewelry, we review hallmarks, signatures, construction, and other identifying characteristics to help assess authenticity.
Experience You Can Count On
